CSG refund - Success! - partial repayment

Have just received a letter to say that they agree to pay the amount claimed minus the 2% for 2012 and 2013 plus interest.

if we disagree we have 2 months to say so. We don't disagree so should we send them a letter to this effect in the hope that we will get the reimbursement sooner rather than later?

A big THANK YOU to Parsnips without whom we would never have managed to put this claim together.

Congratulations!!

After a protracted

couple of months we've finally decided to give up. Our man at “les

impot” has insisted on deducting 4.5% instead of 2% on the

assurance vie and has decreed that copies of bank statements are not

sufficient justification for the claim concerning our deposit

account. We've got back roughly half what we claimed but don't fancy

the thought of a tribunal which he's told us is our only recourse.

Still we're better

off that last year so thanks,Parsnips, from us as well.

Like you we got The letter to say they agree minus that 2% and like your letter if we do not agree etc. We were advised by treasury to do nothing as it was all a matter of them following a set procedure, and true enough after the initial letter of approval 3 or so weeks letter seperate degrevement papers arrive showing for each year claimed 2012, 2013, 2014 , now we wait I suppose another month before the money arrives in the bank, fingers crossed!!! Again all thanks to Parsnips ?
