The Living France poll re the Forum

I see that on the LF homepage there is a ' Have your say ' poll asking

Do you read Living France Magazine or just visit the website?

 

Is this poll just a lighthearted bit of fun or market research eg are there plans afoot to limit access to the website or whatever?

I find the magazine a bit glossy and twee for my liking.

I bought the magazine this month for the article on reclamation yards, and I noticed that the 'from the forum' section had an answer from Will amongst others.

I used to have the magazine delivered on a regular basis, but I found that after a while many copies were a bit 'similar'. So now I buy it from W.H.Smith on an occasional basis - but I do enjoy it when I have it (am I allowed to say that?).

We got the magazine for a couple of years before buying in France. Once we had bought, the wife discovered the website, which she points me at, having too little time to come on here herself.

I have the magazine delivered every month , I really miss the articles by Trevor Yorke, he was the most fantastic photographer and I loved his writing, he always found great places to eat, I keep them filed in regions and if I am visiting somewhere new, I look it up in the magazines.I have been getting them for about fifteen years.I think the legal issues are really helpful and for me a real improvement to  the magazine.I also got a removal lorry that advertised in there and they were great.So yes. I will carry on getting it.
