NormanH
https://www.theguardian.com/books/2017/jun/02/ian-mcewan-denialist-confessions-remainer-brexit"Truly, Brexit has stirred something not heroic or celebratory or generous in the nation, but instead has coaxed into the light from some dark, damp places the lowest human impulses, from the small-minded, the mean-spirited to the murderous." Chancer
"Let the people speak again!" And if we lose once more let them speak again, and again, and again........................ Was the MP murdered because she was supporting remain?
DraytonBoy
Of course, until they get the right result just like the Scots.
EuroTrash
For me it wasn't the result that was the problem, it's what's happened since.I naively thought, a year ago, that this could be a new beginning. Britain standing proud and embracing the opportunities and forging new relationships built on mutual respect. There was potential, albeit slim, to make real changes for the better, but it's all gone down the tubes. If somebody had told me then that a year down the line there would have been no progress, no positivity, just lots of negativity and posturing and excuses and accusations and hate, I would have cried.(And no I didn't vote Brexit.)
