Dianes Posted November 18, 2003 Share Posted November 18, 2003 I can understand people replying to a posting with short quotes from the previous one, to highlight which bit they are referring to, but why do some people quote the whole of the previous posting?I find it really irritating to have to scroll through a lengthy repetition of the posting I've just read, especially if the postee then just replies with one word or sentence, like 'Absolutely', or 'You must be joking'!!Am I the only one to feel like this, or am I going to be shot down in flames?Diane Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
