Multiple e-mail notifications.....maddening

This morning I logged on to find I had received 14 e-mail LF notifications of a message from 'englisht' on the 'Question Time' topic. I wondered whether 'englisht' has started conversing with him/herself or had multiple ideas. When I looked there was only one message dated 14 July. Has the LF Forum gone wobbly???? This is not the first time this has happened to me.

Of course I had to open all the messages to check which topic they referred to so that took ages, but I didn't want to miss anything.

Does anyone else have this problem?

If you click that you want an e-mail each time a response is posted it will e-mail you automatically each time a new post is made on the thread.

The e-mail notification is not 'clever enough' to say who made the post so it just puts on the e-mail the person who started the thread. It is just letting you know that a post has been made rather than e-mailing you the actual post - you still have check the forum.
