Change of settings

I had set up my settings so that hovering the mouse over a topic gave the first line of the topic, this no longer works.

When I tried to access the settings menu I got something for the forum administrators.

Any advice?

Also why is this no longer the feedback forum?

 

Am I allowed to ask that?!

I'm going to 'report' your post, JR and mark it for admins attention - that way if there is a problem he can forward it to IT.

To change your settings you need to go to the Edit your details section at the top of the page, and click on your username.  The Settings section is for bloggers and admin.

Thanks Cat, I was using the wrong section.

However I am still ticked for "enable post mouse over...." but it no longer works

Have you added any new software or had an update for something such as AV or firewall that required a restart of your computer, or might have changed some aspect of your web surfing?

Perhaps rebooting or logging out and then back in would do it - although when you go to 'save changes' it does say the changes make take a few minutes to take effect.
