Text display problem

The posts for at least 1 forum (the renovation forum) have started displaying wider than my wide-display screen.

Probably because a link has been posted that is wider than a page, normally a mod edits these.

In this case I think its an overlarge photo in the dodgy electrics post.

Yep, it's all Powerdesal's fault, that's one huge photo [blink]

When someone posts a very long URL or a wide photo, the post comes out much wider than normal, and forces all other posts on that page to the same width.

For a URL, the mods are usually able to edit it in such a way as to reduce the length, but for a photo there is nothing that we can do.

Just in case I'm ever the guilty party, can the OP go back and fix the problem by editing the picture (i.e., deleting it and then posting a smaller photo)?

Yes, the OP should be able to go back, delete the photo and replace it with a smaller one, if he/she wanted to.
