Im not getting my private messages sent to me by email any more I have just found the last 2 by checking some thing I said on another and there was 2 new ones I hadnt seen.

Have I done some thing to stop this ?

Er no actually which is why you get a warning that by answering you will reveal your own email address as the response goes directly from you to them and not via the forum. I am wondering that perhaps you may of answered a PM (via a notification) using email which may give a similar error message to the one you described because you can only reply via the forum. Try looking in your message folder within the forum. Alternatively the person may have changed or deleted their email address after contacting you.

Well actually this is the real situation, and it has to do with the forum...

The person is a friend, and other e mails were exchanged without any pbm...... So, that's why I don't understand.

This is not an Archant problem, the email address no longer exists.

Whilst I have typed this I have sent an email direct to them and not via the forum software and am getting the same message. The only chance you have now is to PM them and leave a message on the forum tellling them to check their PM's. This is because they will not get a notification and wont know you have PMed them as the email address for notifications is the same as the one that is failing.

The message I recieved back is below (I have changed part of the address in the reply by over-typing with xxxxx just in case). It was sent from my personal wanadoo account hence the first part being in French. Sorry I can't be of any further help.

Certains destinataires n'ont pas recu votre message.
Vous trouverez en piece jointe le message qui n'a pu etre delivre.
Nous vous invitons a verifier l'adresse des destinataires et a essayer
