Website not secure!

It is because the web site is using http:// rather than ther more secure https://

Various web browsers now give a warning if you are accessing an http:// web site; Google Chrome will be give an even more explicit warning from July 2018.

https:// means the data being sent is encrypted so it is more-or-less impossible for someone to access the data during transmission through the network.

So https:// should already be being used by banking, online purchasing, etc or just sites that expect a user name and password.

Not in this case the site is definitely Https ..I think rather it might be that, with the many changes my Bank keep making to their site, their certificates are not always up to date and my AV reacts with a warning.
