Hello Mrs Beryl

I thought I was the only surviving Pogles Wood fan!  I used to get so excited waiting  for them to come on the telly. Watch With Mother was really wonderful! Do you remember the the tulip that played the violin in Pogles Wood?
I can't remember the tulip at all, I can remember an episode with some little pipe cleaner people. Did you watch it with your mother?

Do you remember these little chaps?

Happy bunnies once more[<:o)]
Is it true that bunnies are only happy as they spend every waking minute engaged in fornication ?

John

not
Wouldn't you be ?

And now an appeal on behalf of the poor dogs of Montpelliereshire

Please think of the dog, it didn't ask to be found but then found

undying happiness and all this eccentic behaviour has put the poor dog

at great risk.  If you could all just send me a nice big wadge of

Euros (used notes for reason beginning with.....Impôt)  I am sure

we can sort this out in an adult (yeh right !!) manner. Thank you on

behalf of the save the dog with the dummy fund..Get the bike

warmed up Tina, some suckers gonna fall for that and were going to be

rich (don't want  no flipping cans of dog food either,  like

them poor sods outside Lidls get )...................

Poor old Andy Pandy looks as if he's been through Pogels Wood too.  I used to love him (nearly as much as sandwich spread).

Here's the basket Tresco

and they can all be seen here

along with Rag Tag and Bobtail and the Woodentops and Spotty Dog.

You can look too Miki...

Oh it's started already. I saw this story at least 10 days ago.

Frankly, if I ran a town hall and a secretery littered up the

foyer with decorations brought from home I would show her Dicks Dog.

Still, it's better than the opposite though,  Dogs D***  [;)]

Interesting, isn't it, that the bunny was removed 'to avoid offending non-Christians' - presumably a grand total of no non-Christians had complained, so it was just over-sensitivity.

But is that better or worse than insensitivity?

I ask because I'm just taking a break from

a) trying to make the Cornell note making system make sense to Year 9, and

b) thinking about an RE lesson this afternoon. On Karma. With Year 8. What do Year 8 have to do with Karma? Currently they are wrecking mine!

Oh well, off to the photocopy room via that class which is making a noise down the corridor...

Hence the ditty:

"Rabbits have a lot of fun, because there are a lot of them.

Why are there a lot of them?

'Cos rabbits have a lot of fun"[:D]

Oh, and my understanding of the "sent to Coventry" as being ignored, was that the citizens of Coventry ignored the naked Lady Godiva when she paraded the streets on horseback, out of deference to her goodness.

It amazes me what can be learnt on this forum.

I can't see the word 'horseback' without thinking of this classic exam howler by someone learning English as a second language.

"Cromwell's soldiers were great whoresmen. They travelled on whoresback, ate on whoresback & even slept on whoresback."

Is Alcazar in France at the moment? It keeps raining [st] [st] [st]
