Graham & Brenda
I need to have some charms on my wife's charm bracelet silver-soldered. Is this something undertaken by most jewellers or is it a specialist job? (Knowing how the French love their specialisations!) Also is it "souder d'argent" or does it have another name? Thanks,
Meg
It's not a specialist job G&B, in theory any jeweller should do it.......but as for over here i don't know sorry!!
Danny
probably referrered to as "Soudage de l'argent" or "la brasure". a good jeweller will have no problem with it. Try to find someone who does silversmithing or gold smithing (Orfèvrerie) rather than the watch shop kind of establishment.I could probably do it for you if you get desperate. I have lots of experience in silver work ( not nomally jewellery though)!Danny
