I simply don't get the discomfort, but, there again, maybe the excitement compensated, no idea and if I don't think I was built for contortions 'then', I  most certainly am not now[:D].  Would Chancer's lady friend be, that is the question?[Www]

[/quote]I suspect that only she, and possibly Chancer if he is lucky, will know the answer to that[:D]

Jilly Cooper wrote a piece for the Motor Show issue of The Sunday Times Magazine called Carma Sutra. Sadly I could not find the entire text on line which included recommendations of the Fiat 500, with sunroof open to nostalgic ex members of the Tank Corps.

This is very spooky, today I got an e-mail from an old girlfriend who has only recently made contact since the late 80's she wanted to know if I had any photos of my Escort Mk1, I kid you not!!!

Actually she called it her Escort as I bought it from her when she moved up to a MK11, we had both spent many happy hours making lurv on the back seat but not with each other!!!! a problem of timing in fact.

I would say that she broke far more side windows than I did, enfin she was actually very short so I should really say responsible for breaking more than I.

The stainless steel hinges were glued to the rear quarter window of the Escort MK1 using one of the first cyanoacrilate glues, it didnt work very well and they would fall out with the slightest force, I was always replacing them for the guys in my factory who were bemused that it only seemed to happen when their daughters borrowed the car!!

I actually find it very unnerving for someone from the past like that who is married to make contact again after all this time, most of my friends are now divorced and re-married, nothing unusual in that but many had split because on of the other had taken up with an old flame they found on Friends reunited, I reckon with fessbook etc this is happening more and more, and yes my ex found me on Friends Reunited.

Not spooky really is it?

My son just loves all these things happening. Something being discussed and then by coincidence you see the person, or hear from them, it is a joy for him, usually.

Not all contacts from Friends Reunited are welcome though. Someone I know got in touch and I was not very happy about it, still I have had people I wanted to get in touch who have too, so I'll take the good with the bad.
