Sandg
Dear All, Does anybody know what the likely impact of the strike will be on Ryanair flights to the UK tomorrow? I'm not quite sure who belongs to the Air France union.Any thoughts would be appreciated. S and G

dragonrouge
e are travelling back on Monday with BF from Caen they have just told me that their company is in talks with the Fishermen's union in Paris and they are doing whatever they can but tonight's sailing to St Malo is in doubt. They will know better at 18h.oo.Has anyone viewed the TV or local press today please and what is the extent of the problem. Just have to get back to the UK so if in doubt I will fly or go to the tunnel. The fishermen are complaining as to 75cents per litre for fuel? dover1
Please note that although the fisherman have stopped blockading the port of Calais they only have ONE berth open.(As from thursday 22nd mid day). This means you wait your turn.So quite easily you could be at sea for upto six hours....God help us if its rough in the channel and you have young kids.
