Today I saw my first flock of Palombes (wood pidgeons) flying through from Russia to Spain.http://www.palombe.com/a/a_mig02b.phpEdit: having read through the site a little more, it seems that Les Chasseurs sit in wait for them from the darkness of early morning, particularly in the last two weeks of October!
