CeeJay
We have an abundance of chilli and bell peppers this year and quite a lot of ants in the garden.Whilst de-seeding the peppers a lot of seeds fell onto the ground whereupon there was an immediate invasion of very small ants collecting up the seeds, which were much bigger than they and carted them off to their nest. Why are they so attracted to these seeds and what do they do with them, I am fascinated by the sheer effort made to carry the seeds some distance?
