I have been pleased to see that really old people have been coming onto the beach many with walking aids and obviously painful mobility problems but determined to go for a swim I noticed strangers willing to come out of the water and take their hands and gently give support through waves as they go in and start to swim.A sign of showing respect for the elderly that the UK would do well to follow .
