Local state registered architect inroduced and recommended a supplier who submitted what appeard to be a genuine Devis on company headed paper. later discovered Company was in liquidation, false SIRET no use, dodgy address, whole litany of problems. With help of French neighbour reported to Gendarmerie in Agde + French Embassy in London 6 weeks ago. Not a peep since. Any other foreigners stung like this? Help!
