Stilton cheese

Have to say I prefer Roquefort or Blue d'Auvergne for the flavour and taste and smaller portions where required rather than Stilton which always leaves a nasty bitter taste behind. The pieces in Lidl are €5+ for alarge piece, too much for us to use.

As Gardner have said Lidl currently have it if you are quick - and it is the real MaCoy..

Failing that, Blue des Causses has the closest taste - to my opinion anyway - but is not as creamy in texture.  For the texture Roquefort is probably as close as you will get, but it is (again to my taste) a much sharper and saltier taste than Stilton.

If you use Stilton for cooking, then there is only one cheese that works - Stilton.
