Bugsy
106bhp is the max in France Lee, so it would have to be restricted and speedo/light changes made before you could obtain a Carte GrisMore info herehttp://www.completefrance.com/cs/forums/915049/ShowPost.aspx
Lee & Elin
Could I ride it on UK insurance and pop up to Calais and jump on the tunnel once a year and get an MOT done in Folkestone ?I believe people do that ?RegardsLee

Chezstevens
Read previous threads on the subject of illegal vehicles. Please don't live near us. Another prawn trying to get around the law and give the Brits in France a blacker reputation. God help us.
Bob T
And when you have your first accident and find that the UK insurance is only valid for a UK resident, it could cost you thousands. That is assuming that you are not done by the French police for not importing the bike, which is a legal requirement.
Lee & Elin
Point taken, thought I may have had responses like that.My appologies for even thinking it. Looks like I will have to sell it and get a boring 106 bhp bike until the French may see sense in the future and allow new bikes like the 180 bhp ones like in the UK.I cannot understand why bikes are restricted but you can drive a car with a 1000 bhp engine in France !
