OK, after a most enjoyable weekend by the sea this time we are looking inland to a campsite within walking distance of St Jean D'Angely.

The site is called CAMPING VAL DE BOUTONNE and the website is here.

It will cost 9 euros a night for one rider, bike & tent.

Because of the forecast temperatures I thought it would be nice to visit somewhere we could walk around in comfort rather than sweaty bike gear. [8-|]

As its the busier time of year I will need to book so anyone interested please let me know ASAP.

Gary.

So now we are five..............

Veerod

Snorkel

Simon

Bugbear

Phil in france

Arriving for the first night on Friday 23rd.

No one from your neck of the woods Phil so I guess it will be a meet up at the site for you.

I'm open to suggestions on RV points but I thought Super U car park in Sauze Vaussais (D740) as a good point for Gary, Ron and Andy.

Meet Simon in Melle, perhaps.

Rendezvous Points for Friday 23rd.

10.00 Super 'U' Car Park Sauze Vaussais (D740) off the N10

for Ron - Andy - Gary.

10.45 Triumph Dealers in Melle

for Simon & Son.

Then a leisurely ride to the campsite stopping for a snack or something.

Phil, we should be there easily by early afternoon.

Most enjoyable camping session with great people. Thought I better get on this sensible forum to continue my interest in motorcycling in France. Great photos taken by Snorkel , pity the one of me was deleated. Hope we can organise more trips

Just a brief word and some photos of our trip.

It was good to see everyone again and have a chat.

The weather was much kinder this time, not too hot and no rain.

This was another fine opportunity for all of us to further refine our equipment and hone our camping skills.

A big thanks you to Liz and Brian for their hospitality and excellent food.

Simon's  plate rack.  Perhaps the most suitable use for a Triumph yet?
