Aprilia Moto 6.5

Bit of a long shot this, but does anyone happen to have a copy of a Certificat de Conformitè for a Moto 6.5? I find 152 Euros to get one from Aprilia a bit much to stomach if there is any other possibility.

The certificate of conformity that Aprilia will give you confirms that your particular motorcycle with VIN number XXXXXXXX conforms to EU technical regulations.  A copy of a certificate relating to someone else's motorcycle is useless.

Thanks again Sunday Driver for your quick response, I am wondering if it is worth trying to face them down with the V5C for the bike, which , allegedy, should cover the C de C, do you know where on the V5C the actual reference is please?

The EU type approval number is shown under section K of the V5C.

However, I've just done a quick search and according to MCN, production of the Moto 6.5 ceased in 2002.  That means it probably doesn't have EU type approval therefore there'll be no e* number on the V5C.

If this is the case, then it's back to Aprilia.....

Just checked and there is no number in section K on my V5C
