The global warming myth
But Mark, I have always been told that global warming will mean that we could be in for very very cold weather. Either I haven't understood, or you haven't.
TU, I'm sure I haven't understood, and maybe you haven't understood, and the people who always told you probably haven't understood, or they at least directly contradict some other experts who don't understand, and no-one seems to have ever fully understood that you can't second guess nature.  It could be anything.  I personally don't think there'll be a huge amount of generations of us left though, before something far less dopey takes over.  I mean, capitalism, really, it wasn't going to ever compete with geology in the long-term stakes was it?  Arrogant idea on our part.  Shame for China, India et al though, just as they're getting the hang of it.  That's if the Industrial Revolution sparked this all off of course, which it probably didn't.  Or did.
Did you pick the daffs before they got buried? (EDIT: see pics 1 and 2)

Have you installed your woodburner in the past couple of days?  I thought not.  So how are you and Squidge keeping warm?
1/ They're Janneau's daffs.

2/ Don't be seedy.
What?  The thought of how you and Squidge keep warm? [:D]
OK, OK, since you ask, I knit feverishly and she puts girders and timbers into place to ensure future guests have secure and comfortable stays.  Lou, ignore the heating problem, global climate warming change will be back next week.
