I've just set up a Photobucket account and want to test it out, so (I hope!) here is a pic of Albi, Taken on a day out the other day.

Hope the size is right - there is nothing more irritating than to have to scroll the page for 5 mins to see all the picture!

That's good - it worked! (There'll be no stopping me now....)

Thank you for your kind comments Cathy, I know what you mean about the bricks 'glowing' in the sunshine, you almost feel as though you could warm your hands on them. Here's another example:

Beautiful!

What is the reason for not all of the building being reflected in the water?
Great photos David, I like the effect of the barrage on the reflections in the first  one.

My post just before yours explained it!  Barrage = weir  [;-)]  There are loads of barrages on the rivers around us so it is a familiar sight / effect.
Thanks for that, I thought you could copy and paste?   Must you always use Photobucket?
No, you can use any similar product.  The main thing to remember is that the photo has to be stored on an image hosting site on the internet somewhere (or even your own website) but not on your computer.

In your case 47, the photo link properties indicate that your photo is stored in gmail?

I haven't used Picasa, but reading their site it seems to say that you have to make your albums public in order to share them with others?  If I try to open the URL for your photo in a new window, it takes me to a gmail login page, suggesting that, at the moment, your photo can only be viewed by logging onto google.

Picasa help:
How can I link to a web album from my blog or website?

You can link to your web album photos from your blog or website with

the "Link this Album" function. After you are signed in, click "Link

This Album" (in the album view), and a URL for your album will appear.

For an email or IM, copy and paste the URL into your message.

For an external website, copy and paste the HTML code that appears into

your site. The album cover will appear on that site, linked to the PWA

album. You can select from four photo sizes for your album cover (up to

800 pixels).
It does not appear to be as easy as with Photo Bucket... [:(]
