mint
Would prefer a spray and not soft rinse to put in the machine.Having used vinegar in the soft rinse drawer for many years in our hard water area, I am now missing that faint smell of something flowery and subtle in the washing.I do think soft rinse builds up in materials and is not ideal.A recommendation for something easily obtained would be great

mint
Wools, I would have to hang up bunches of the stuff! Had a walk-in wardrobe built a couple of years ago.
Théière
There are cheap bottles of lavender water in the cleaning isles, we used to lightly spray the linen in summer. Or, never tried them but the new scent boosters?
mint
Thanks, Teapot, will go to those cleaning islands[:D]Just pulling your leg, I know you meant aisles....Lavender, I love the smell. When my poor dog (now deceased) was restless with dementia, lavender essential oil sprayed on her bedding used to calm her down a bit.The smell of lavender will be forever in my mind associated with my beautiful and utterly faithful companion.
