I'm talking about pulled figs of course[:P]

Today is one of those days, the very rare occasions when I get a guilty feeling of "better catch up with a fraction of all the things I should have done".  OK, I'll start by freeing up freezer space.  Who knows, in the event of being able to have people in to eat with again, I plan to do a stock up.

Got the last of the frozen figs out and started to make a spiced compote with them.  After I started, I remembered I had a pack of dried figs in a drawer and thought I might as well put them in with the frozen ones.

The pack said "pulled figs", what on earth......?  I have heard of pulled pork and pulled chicken and pulled legs even but, PULLED figs.......?

Well, shan't keep you wondering, I looked it up and here is the definition[:D]
