Liz Posted May 5, 2006 Share Posted May 5, 2006 There is a weekend towards the end of this month or very early in June when gardens that are not normally open to the public do so under the 'Campagne Visitez un Jardin en France'. I always have trouble finding out when exactly this is, does anyone know this year? Durant trois jours, du vendredi au dimanche, le premier week-endde juin, des jardins qu’ils soient publics ou privés ouvrent leursportes, pour certains exceptionnellement. Autour d’un thème fédérateurrenouvelé chaque année les visiteurs, venus chercher idées, conseils etinformations, découvrent des animations, démonstrations, expositions,conférences, concerts… Ces rendez-voussont devenus un moment privilégié de rencontre entre passionnés dupatrimoine culturel vivant que constitue le jardin. There doesn't seem to be any central point that lists them all and the only way I have found them is to buy the local paper, ours has a 'what's on' on Saturdays, or to ask in the tourist office who sometimes have a listLiz.
