MedocMan Posted August 13, 2014 Share Posted August 13, 2014 Does anyone know the bottom line as regards one's rights to put up a couple of yurts or glam-tents in one's garden? I have a hectare of land with my property in the Medoc Bleu, and have been pondering the possibility of having a couple of yurts for summer-only guests. I've seen articles proclaiming that up to 6 tents can be put up as of right, others have said it's a right but the mayor still has to give permission (whatever that means). any thoughts would be much appreciated. He put up a tent to sleep in whilst he was repairing his barn and his mairie said that he could not camp there.So, I will be quite curious as to what is allowed or not.Ask at your Mairie and the DDE of whatsoever they call themselves these days.
