RJH Posted January 27, 2012 Share Posted January 27, 2012 Hi all, just wondered if anyone has any knowledge on the rules etc around opening a small restaurant in your house in France? I know that chambre d'hote owners are allowed to provide table d'hote but I can't find any guidance on whether you can do it on a very small scale without letting rooms? I've waded through articles and the web but nothing seems conclusive. We have a farmhouse in the Pyrenees and hoping to move out permanently soon. JimmyEveriss Posted February 28, 2012 Share Posted February 28, 2012 Hi RJH, if you find anything out about this I'd be very interested.As far as alcohol is concerned, it looks as though anyone wishing to serve it needs to complete a 3 day course now.
