You must declare the income in France and pay tax on it. This will be levied at a rate of 20% of the taxable income after allowable deductions: there is no "personal allowance" for non-residents.Then you must also declare it in the UK - you will receive credit for the tax paid in France but may have to pay more depending on your other income.
