Dick Smith
Well, as someone else said, there's nothing like kicking a man when he's down and can't answer back. Brave of you.Any proof or just innuendo?
Bobc
"prolonging this discussion will obviously be deleted BUT it isinteresting that BobC has made no response. Do any other members havecomments before I am silenced?Barrie Barrie M Clarke[email protected]"You are obviously new to the Forum. If you had taken the time to read my original posting, which was arounda month ago, you will see that I referred to an "English" bar - meaningone which was popular with the ex-pat community. Had I meant Englishowned then I would have said that. The bar that I was referring to is French owned. I am not sure why you would think that I am referring to your business.I have no idea who you are or where your business is - of more concernis the fact that you are obviously the person who telephoned my wife onour home number yesterday and disturbed a peaceful family Sunday.Get a life.Bob Clarkehttp://perso.wanadoo.fr/grindoux
Barrie
Alors, enfin!Bon soir, BobC (George)I shall begin with the phone call.I did indeed call, after I had read your original posting, in order to discuss the matter with you on a personal level without involving others - my preferred method of solving potential problems. In this area there is, in the minds of most 'ex-pats' one English bar. I personally dislike the label as I came to live and work, legally, in France. If, as you say, you were refering to another bar then please contact me, through the forum or by email, privately, and tell me which French Bar you are talking about. Alternatively my invitation to share a drink still stands. Most of life's problems can be solved on a personal level by simple discussion rather than spurious and ambiguous allegations.I await your response.Barrie Clarke (no relation)
Ron Avery
DickIf you look at the style and spelling of the posts Tony was referring to, you would see that it is not the special one, he could spell, or are you rooting for your old mate outie now?[8-)]
