Simon
Does anyone have any experience of using this company to install a kit liner pool? We have been quoted around 30,000 euros for a 10x5 pool by Aquilus. They appear to be a large firm and not a franchise.ThanksSimon F
JJ
Simon,I do not know the company, but 30k euros does sound a bit steep for a 10 x 5m pool.Beware, there are a lot of cowboys out there in swimming pool land.Do your research before signing on the dotted line. This forum is a great source of info and help, in particular Poolguy who gives loads of free and spot on advice. When you do cho0se an installer make sure that the credentials are right, in particular insurance.Do not get your fingers burnt like I did.Good Luck. virginia.c
Hello Poolguy I'm going to France Sunday to look at a hamlet property (thinking of buying) which unfortunately doesn't have a garden, just a couple of terraced areas. Terraces are in levels, built of old stone and walled so very attractive. I can't imagine a property in France without a pool and fortunately I have never wanted the traditional 10 x 5 or whatever with a bright aqua lining. In my minds eye I see a rock pool type pool with waterfall coming down from the wall behind, uneven shape and a glass mosaic lining but not bright aqua. But, can I find anything like this on the net? no I can't. Do you know anyone designing and building something like this?Would be grateful for your advice. Many thanksVirginia
Poolguy
VirginiaYes These ideas for pools end up with a lovely solution but they take abit of planning and extra work over an above the standard pool kitsolution.I can help you realise this dream but it would be best if you contactmy office via PM or email and send a wish list along with some pics ofthe site.Design is easy and cheap, form there we can develop a nice solution.remember... for your new pool, you can have anything you want.Andrew
