Théière
Ok Steve, the vit C tablet proves it is not a metal stain. Be very careful placing gallets directly on the liner, they are very acidic and can cause ageing and puckering of the liner. Liquid chlorine on the other hand is reasonably safe providing the liner isn't patterned.Just takes time, if you can contain the chlorine (javel) in some way, cut the bottom out of a bucket etc leave on the bottom of the pool then pour some javel in the bucket it will sink as its heavier than water and will work on the stain. It will naturally mix with the water after a while but should help concentrate the cleaning power.
f1steveuk
Cheers for that. Never used liquid Javal, so that will be new! Just to cap it all, someone knicked the pool alarm the day we left!
f1steveuk
Of course, as this mark covers quite a large area of the pool bottom, both shallow and deep ends, and curiously the heaviset patch follows the "crease" as the pool deepens but only on one side (!!), I would need a very very big bucket! henrystrange
If it's metal stain- using an orange, lemon, or lime rub an area with the cut half; if the stain starts to disappear after about 20sec. you can buy ascorbic acid at a local pool supply store. You'll also want to use "Metal Out" to prevent the stain from coming back. Also check your chlorine level, high levels produce the high metal content.
