Long term Let...

Hello all, we are a young family who are looking for a long term let (or, even better, house sitting) in either the Midi Pyrennees or the Languedoc Roussillon in early 2008.  I know it's seemingly a long way off but we're setting our wheels in motion now.  How much would one expect to pay for a 2 or 3 bedroom house with a reasonable sized garden and central heating (for the colder winter months), and although we'd like to spend the majority of our spare time outdoors, British TV would be nice!!  Internet access via line or WiFi would also be most welcome.

We would have a car but wouldn't want to be too remote.  We are animal friendly and would gladly look after pets\gardens. 

We would only consider a minimum of 6 months to a maximum of 1 year, this we feel would enable us to make a reasonably informed decision as to where we'd like to settle\buy a house etc...
