Joe
I know this has been aired before. We are both covered until 1st Jan next year on the E106.Then we need to get 100% cover until Sept 2012 when I am 65 and my wife is 61.The thing is had my wife been able to get her state pension in June next year we would have been ok.My wife enquired about 100% Insurance, was told not a problem, about 3.5k euros.Insurance chap said because we have both paid enough contributions (43 & 39 yrs),we could get E121 early.Rang Newcastle, a definite NO.Has anybody experienced similar feedback/
Sunday Driver
Newcastle will only issue an E121 to people who are actually in receipt of the qualifying benefit - in this case, the old age pension. The amount of contributions paid is immaterial.
