idun
It does sound like a simple question doesn't it, but it isn't .There is medical top up if you are in the french health system and actually that is optional. Then there are private companies if you are legally obliged to get cover for all your health care.So which of these options do you come under. Tony F Dordogne
This subject has been done to death over the years and comes up regularly. If you search the archives, there are dozens of threads, some quite recent, with comments, suggestions and places to go or to avoid.
Patf
In my view there's no short cut here. You need to go in personally to as many assurance offices as possible, tell them what you want and get estimates. They all have several packages covering different aspects at different levels and prices. Some might refuse to cover you.Only you can decide what suits you, and your pocket, best.
cooperlola
Pat, as Idun pointed out, so much depends upon whether our o/p is after full insurance or top-up. Whilst I agree with you that shopping around is the only way and that agencies here can help with top-up, he may find that assurance offices don't have full policies and thus will waste a lot of time because they just aren't sold widely here. There are the names and addresses of some companies who do full PHI on our website, link below (no financial or other interest in any of them.) Patf
You're right, Coops. The OP asked this question on another forum and it turns out he/she wants full cover, which isn't offered by all the Assurance co.s.
