Long term - near Bordeaux required

This is my first post, although I have read countless others, anyway, having recently lost my woman & job (same week) working as a consultant for a large french bank , I will now rejuvenate myself by improving myself, my french, and my skating near Bordeaux for at-least 6 months to a year.

As a bachelor with a motorcycle, snowboard and a Mac, I can afford to pay a no more than 500 Euro per month for a small clean flat with a secure spot to park my bike

I would prefer a furnished property not to far from the sea preferably Lège-Cap Ferret, or perhaps Charente-Maritime , starting from May/June 2011.

Any pointers or suggestion would be appreciated.
