Lisa
Hi, Is there a French version of - 'compare the market.com', for telephone and internet providers or do I need to do their websites one by one.rgds Lisa
suein56
If you already have a line with an FT number then this website should tell you what is available in your area, if you fill in the details.http://www.degrouptest.com/If you have no FT number then they can do the test for you and ring you back with the results on a number you specify.A useful starting point.Sue
Lisa
Thanks Sue, We would be starting from scratch for the new house, I've always used my French mobile and French dongle for the internet when we are over but as we are going to be full time in this house, I would like to compare prices for fixed line phone and internet.rgds lisa
suein56
In that case, if you can find out the tel no of a really close neighbour (physically, not emotionally) then use that; it will give you a good idea of what is available.Sue
YCCMB
There's this:http://www.linternaute.com/comparatif/categorie/54/and thishttp://track.radins.com/linker/gratuits/linker.php?id=7969And some others. A lot of them start with the forfaits for ADSL including telephone, rather than starting from a telephone forfait.

Chrissie
On a slightly different track - has anyone tried going to comparethemeerkat.com?....... I did once (very sad, I know) and the result was surprising!Chrissie (81)
Pickles
Drifting even further - I noted that the French comparator website much advertised in France used "ferrets" which were strangely similar to the UK site's "meerkats" ... then discovered of course that both sites are owned by the same (UK) company.
