An on-going battle is going on between our cats and our new boxer. They get in his bed so he gets in theirs..........or tries to. [:D]

He used to fit in that bed when we first got him home.

Well no, it's not very comfortable actually, but it's a dogs life and a position I've been forced to adopt since being usurped

(I'm not sulking either, just trying to make a point!)[:(]

[/quote]  Sorry Henry, you are SO sulking[:D]

Oh my gosh, Bugbear. We have a picture of one of our belated Boxer dogs doing exactly the same in a small basket. He also tried to get through the cat flap and we had to dismantle it to prize him out. That is going back many years and it was our first Boxer and when he passed away at the ripe old age of  11 years we then took another rescue Boxer who we also named Henry. Wonderful dogs !!!!!

But thank goodness we don't huh Bugbear ?!  We got our rescue one (Brodie-Mac) weighing 17kg, hardly any fur, sores from lying in her own urine and clinically depressed.  Two years on, she's 35kg, looks fab and is the happiest dog ever ...

I may be biased, but you'll never get a better dog than a boxer ... but they are children with four legs !!

Another one .. we should start a 'stupid boxer pictures' thread but it would go on forever !!

Don't know what's going on inside Babushka's head (if anything) ... is she trying to work out what Brodie-Mac's found or just where her head has disappeared to !!

You mean like this.......?

Henry is just six months old and the leggiest boxer I've ever seen. We lost our lovely Maxwell last August at the age of 15, such a sad time for us.

Adorable Bugbear  !!!   You can't walk past them without kissing them can you ??

You're right, he is leggy isn't he, should be a super-model !?  Was Maxwell a boxer too ... if so, 15 is a great age - however it's always too soon to lose one isn't it ?

I have a photo on my kitchen wall of my first boxer - Betsy-May - on her back in typical boxer pose, sort of  S shape ... front half twisted to the right, back half to the left.  And the caption underneath is ...

Read instructions carefully before assembling your boxer !!

Ooooh, he looks very young in that picture !  We've always had red ones too.  My mum calls boxers 'beautifully ugly' .. which is think is a little unfair !  I can't find any pictures of my old girl in her prime (all on my boyfriend's computer) but I can find this one of her in my bed !!
