Getting a parking badge etc. for person with disability

Recommended Posts

Totally confused now. So what you want is a designated parking place for yourself in front of your house? So presumably, in case of urgent need of an ambulance you'll pop outside and move your car so the ambulance can get in?

Good luck

I'm out.

NO. It's for day time only, I can go to bed at night and be fine but the following morning I could find it hard to breath and that's when I know I need an ambulance because even with an oxygen supply I have problems breathing.

Loiseau. There is plenty of space in the square to park but these people have always chosen to park directly outside my house because they have less distance to walk across the road to the apartments where they all live. Our maire knows of my health condition and is a very helpful gent.

I have drafted a letter to him explaining the situation stating that with fluid on the lungs time is a very important factor, that needs to be treated as soon as possible and the need for an ambulance to access my front door and get me to hospital ASAP.Hence the Gendarmerie escort.

Quite apart from Mr Wiggy's specific problem, the town plan should provide for emergency access to all properties at all times, not just for medical assistance but also for fire engines. Maybe the mayor needs to review his emergency access plan since the extra cars for new apartments seem to have changed the equation.
