Ford Transit headlights

I have a 1997 LWB Transit which I am in the process of re-registering in France.

I live near Cognac. Can anyone tell me the best place to obtain headlights for this vehicle as I need to change them for the CT.

Also, has anyone the address to write to in France to obtain an 'Attestation de Conformite' or is it best just to apply to the DRIRE?

The attestation can be fun but it comes from the manufactur.  For my Skoda it was Skoda UK who provided it, for my Landrover, God knows - I'm still struggling!  Try Ford in the UK to start with.

The DRIRE do not provide attestations for commercial vans.  You need to write to the manufacturer:

There is a company in Germany run by Brits who buy all the squaddies' continental headlights off them when they get posted back to the UK - they are called the headlamp shop and have a store on e-bay.uk - you could try them. I got our lights from them, a bit pricey for secondhand compared with a scrappie (£200), but an excellent service.

They may even buy back your UK lights, but not sure on that.
