Steph1
My son is looking to buy a Landrover Defender 90, preferably a TD5, in France but it appears they are like hen's teeth. Does anyone know of any for sale? Thanks.

AnOther
Why ?I have bought several cars from eBay in the UK without a single problem.Just do your homework and know what you're looking at and if you don't then take a friend who does.ALWAYS check out a sellers feedback, even if it's 100%.Never part with any money before you've seen the vehicle it and if it isn't EXACTLY as described (or better!) then just walk away.I wonder if you're one of those people who refuse to use a Credit Card for online shopping ?You're far more at risk when you give it to a waiter in a restaurant [;-)]

terry1956
Hi, there are 4x4 car auctions in france from time to time, the car auction just outside caen did have a number of land rovers 90,s and 110,s in, I did not watch the bidding but the cars I did watch had high miles and high prices, I got my LHD 110 non TD5 export only 2001 in the UK for £9500 cost me just under £400 to get french plates. 90,s are about, but 110,s are a better drive. michael
springbank
www.speedfarm.net are in belguim i think and seem reasonable as second hand lrs here are not! Also www.southviewservices.co.uk/ has a left hand drive section. Reregestering a lr in france is really easy,Graham
