Standley Posted January 16, 2004 Share Posted January 16, 2004 We are looking to do the same. You need to go to your Chamber of Commerce for forms which are 3 inches thick. Once completed you return to the local Mairie with a covering letter saying what you plan to sell. Make sure that what you plan to sell is not abundant in the market of your choice, for example fruit and veg in our area would not be allowed. You are granted a licence to trade which entitles you to trade anywhere, however, you need to write a letter to the Mairie of any town you wish to work in for permission to have a stall. Costs of hiring a pitch are cheap and we were quoted 45c per metre for an external pitch.
