Phoenix71011
Just a quicky!I have heard that the Extrait KBIS needs to be renewned on a regular basis, although, through my research, it appears to be simply a business registration document....a one off.Is anyone able to clarify please?Thank you in advanceSarah
Maricopa
I don't know where you heard this, but I can see no reason why you would need to renew a one off business registration. I certainly don't intend to do so, having just looked at my Extrait K.

SS2002
When you apply to do work - say on a market, the KBIS needs to have been delivered within the last 3 months. Just go to the tribunal and ask for a new one, it costs a few euros and is printed off while you wait.
Phoenix71011
Aha! Now I'm confused again...So you do have to renew it on a regular basis?!

Maricopa
I have just visited the site and ordered a new one....simples!!
Can we ask, are you opening a market stall, buying a company car or opening a new company bank account, or other such reason as to why you need a new copy? Genuine question.
Phoenix71011
Hi Maricopathe reason for the renewal is to carry on trading as a market trader. I registered at the end of May, have traded since..(having a break at the mo) and kept hearing about renewing the KBIS every 3 months. I intend to carry on in November and thought I should check it out...one of those niggles and realised there is little info on what to do after you've done the registering.Glad to say, I'm sorted now! Thanks for all the helpSarah

JMB
You can get copies of any companies kbis on line. I find this helps to trace peoples adresses. So, for example, if you are owed money by a company and find that the gerant is a little bit on the slippery side then you can normally get a address and from there a phone number or go knock on the door.
