Hi Everybody

We are supposed to be getting water installed this week(yippee) which stops at our boundry with a meter! we have a run of 12mtrs from the boundry to the barn,I know in the UK the trench is 3ft approx to safguard against temp etc is it the same in France. We are leaving for france tomorrow so a prompt reply would really be appreciated. By the way the barn is in the Indre(36)

Thanks all

Do the same as the UK regulations and you won't go far wrong. They are gradually coming over to the british/other european countries way of doing things in France slowly, especially now the thickness of the concrete footings. We used english OSMA fittings and pipework etc to give us the extra space for the waste to flow down for extra protection and to use up all that old stock when we moved here. Happy digging (ours was solid granite and we were almost tempted to dynamite it at one stage)
