CJN Posted September 23, 2004 Share Posted September 23, 2004 Does anyone remember which 'Living France' issue number had the article on a straw bale house being built in Brittany ?I have bought this issue and promptly mislaid it, or sent to recycling by mistake.If anyone could send the correct issue date it would be extremely helpful, or indeed any information on straw bale houses in France. Philmco Posted September 23, 2004 Share Posted September 23, 2004 I know it's a long way from Brittany, but between Miallet & St Pierre de Frugie in the northern end of 24 (just to the east of the N21) is the Ecocentre de Perigord where they have a demonstration straw bale building, also others constructed from chaux and hemp, adobe, timber, and multiform terracotta.
