Static Caravans

We have just purchased a farmhouse in Brittany which needs work before we can move in. Can anyone tell where I would be able to buy a cheap static caravan?  I have tried to search the internet but I only come up with sites selling sited caravans.  We will probably need to live in it for about 6 months - so I really don't fancy a tent instead!

You will need permission to pose one for up to 3 months.

It's not the best time of year for buying a static. If you can wait until october/november go to one of the sites that rent out the actual vans rather than just the ground they stand on. At that time of year they are disposing of up to 20% of their older stock. You should be able to get a tatty but perfectly habitable one for about £1,000.
