Kingdingaling Posted September 8, 2005 Share Posted September 8, 2005 Bought ours just over a year ago and its been a nightmare, faulty parts, pre asembled bits wrong and its always leaked.Anyone else had problems with these or did we buy a one off - might buy a new one and use this in a less problematic position (tiled room). No subsequent leaks in plumbing/drainage but did have a leak on one seam where I obviously did not seal correctly. Kingdingaling Posted September 9, 2005 Author Share Posted September 9, 2005 Ours works well now, just that it took so long, the pull switch to enable jets was faulty so had to wait a while for that part, the setup for the jets were wrong, I think the glass panels are not quite sealed. Gyn_Paul Posted September 9, 2005 Share Posted September 9, 2005 Ours leaked at the seal between the back panel and the base, and I thought it was an absolute sod to plumb in, but once there (and the crummy flexi plastic waste was replaced with something less likely to give up the ghost inside 5 weeks) it's been OK. For my sins, I've bought another one for an ensuite with a slightly bouncy floor - not looking forward to putting it in I can tell you!pps. ours seems to hold an incredible amount of water in the pipes from the mixer to the jets: when switching from shower head to jets, one gets drenched with a hell of a lot of cold before any hot gets through.(just re-read that: If that isn't a definition of a middle-class crisis I don't know what it!) My best was throwing a hissy fit because the new espresso machine wasn't frothing milk for my cappucino as well as the old one. Why oh why, do bad things happen to good people? Any other examples?
