Tax credits on energy efficient fosse septiques?

Does anyone know if the tax credit system applies to eco friendly septic tanks (not the sand filter type)?

Ils ont en revanche rétabli contre l'avis du gouvernement un crédit d'impôt de 25% des dépenses de réhabilitation d'installations d'assainissement non collectif effectuées entre le 1er janvier 2006 et le 31 décembre 2010.

I'll follow it up this week. On the company website it fulfils the criteria for a tax credit in Canada where it originated. We had it installed last year (at the suggestion of the SPANC guy) and the firm is coming this week to carry out the annual service so I'll ask them first before trotting down to the tax office.

I am not aware of any tax credit linked to an eco-friendly sanitation system.

The rehabilitation of a sanitation system can qualify for a 0% loan (éco-PTZ), as long as the system does  not use any energy (details).
