Anna
Hi Our concrete balustrades are not looking good! They have a rust colour showing through and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if there is anyway we can make them look good again? Many thanks
Théière
Anna, a picture may help, where do you think the iron staining has come from, possibly the framework internally?
Anna
Hi Thanks for your reply. Yes, looks like it probably is coming from the inside out, so could be from the framework. I've taken a photo but my daughter in Oz has just confirmed that I've left my camera lead there so she is going to post it off asap. As soon as I receive it, I'll post a photo! NickP
I would wire brush the rust marks to remove surface stains, apply a concrete sealer to the balustrades, then a good quality exterior wall paint.
