Which chauffe-eau?

I just had mine replaced after putting it in 24years ago as it was beginning to rust underneath and is upstairs so did not want to take a risk in it leaking. I have a 200l Thermor unit with steatite insulation which is a top quality marque and cost me €460. I don't believe in buying cheap rubbish where these are concerned and neither would my late husband install anything other than a quality unit. HOWEVER chauffe-eau shape has now changed to shorter and fatter so if like me, you have it installed in a cupboard be warned that the doors may not shut. I was lucky as it was a sliding door and we just swapped it onto the front runner but it only just passes the unit.
